What is life coaching?

The creative process of working with a trained professional to improve your life, manifest your dreams, unlock your desires and increase your happiness. You might say personal life coaching combines soul spiritual coaching, dream realization, values clarification, priority management, skill-building, visioning, and career/life planning.

Working with a Life Coach is a powerful, practical and purposeful way to actively and consciously enhance your life in whatever ways you desire.

Life Coaching is…

  • Open for endless possibilities and solutions.
  • Customized and fluid to meet your needs.
  • Fun and exhilarating - laughing is mandatory!
  • Time and energy dedicated to you.
  • Concentrated and thought provoking.
  • Powerful and uplifting.
  • An investment in yourself with unlimited rewards.
  • A safe place for courageous exploration.
  • A time when you can step outside of your life and take a close look at it.
  • A place to think with and listen to your heart.

Life Coaching isn't…

  • A substitute for medical help from a trained and licensed physician or mental health counselor.
  • A structured top-down program with preset expectations and goals.
  • Based on fear, shame, guilt, or blame.
  • About fixing you - it is about revealing you.
  • A place to hide from yourself.
  • Only easy answers.
  • Me having all the answers and you obeying.
  • Working alone to improve your life.
  • A something that happens to you - you make it happen.
  • An automated rubber stamp of your actions (truth combined with compassion is much more helpful).

Coaching Vs. Therapy

Coaching does not follow a medical model as does therapy. This means that in coaching we don't make a diagnosis of a "disease" and then follow a treatment plan to "cure" you. Instead, we assume that you don't need to be fixed. Rather than going back to heal your past, in coaching we work on where you are and on taking you forward from where you are today to the full expression of your magnificent self. There is no competition between coaching and therapy. Some clients have both therapists and coaches and receive a different value from both.
